Vodafone india has launched a freebie offer for their new 4G subscriber who upgraded their existing 2G/3G sim into 4g. Vodafone india just announced that customer of mumbai now can grab upto 4gb free data by upgrading their 3g sim into 4g.

Some source belive it is only aviable for customer in mumbai circle but in west bengal i also getting a such kind of massage from vodafone.i think this offer is for all 4g circle of vodafone in india .

Report of india 's internet based info channel mobigyaan said that vodafone also serve this freebie for their customer in up west and uttarakhand.
The offer can avil by both prepaid and postpaid customer. This is a one time promotional offer so customer need to mind it .

Talking about the offer Pushpinder Singh Gujral, Business Head - Mumbai, Vodafone India said, "Vodafone is proud to be the preferred telecom services provider to over 9 million customers in Mumbai. We are offering 4GB data free for our customers to experience the benefits of our Data Strong Network and enjoy unparalleled mobile internet services."

If you need to check that you are eligible or not you need to dial *121# and wait while you can see the massage in the screen with offers or you need to call customer care .
There are some simple step for upgrading your sim into 4G you can ask mini store executive to upgrade your sim or you can follow these simple steps;-

1.first collect a 4g upgradeable sim card from any vodafone store ,mini store or any outlet.
2. To activate the 4G SIM card, use your existing Vodafone number to SMS 'SIMEX ' to 55199
3. You will receive a response SMS from 55199 with partial SIM number entered
4. Then, you need to send the last 6 digits of the new SIM number to 55199 within 2 hours of receiving the SMS mentioned in the above step
5. You will receive a success SMS, post which your 4G SIM will be activated within 20 minutes.
6. replace your old SIM in the handset with the new 4G SIM and 4G services will begin for you.
7. Then you will get free 4gb 4g data for 10 days with a confirmation massage
