@iamdk A team of medical clinicians and computer scientists have teamed up to create an app designed to spot early signs of pancreatic cancer. The app is named BilliScreen.
>> HOW THE APP FIND CANCER
BilliScreen uses machine learning algorithms to measure the amount of bilirubin in a person's eyes from a photo.
The app, BilliScreen, uses computer vision algorithms and machine learning algorithms to detect jaundice in a photo of a person’s eyes.
Specifically, it measures elevated levels of bilirubin in the sclera, the white part of the eye. Jaundice, an early symptom of pancreatic cancer and a number of other diseases, is caused by a buildup of bilirubin.
>> PROCESS
A user takes a photo of his or her face using a smartphone camera, a pair of special glasses and a 3D-printed box that controls the eye’s exposure to light.
>> CREATOR
BilliScreen is based on research from the University of Washington’s Ubiquitous Computing Lab
>> AVILABILITY
The app is now in beta mode in washington university for development. But it will be presented in computing conference later this month.
>> My Thoughts
But anyone can find it (symptoms of cancer) by visit a specialist. Or doing a health check up. But these are very costly and everyone might not afford it. The scientist makes it very easy by making this app .
It will be a great news for all if the app gets permission to avilable for everyone. Everyone will
able to caught the pancreatic cancer in first stage and able to fight against it . My thoughts may be crazy what is your thoughts about it . Write down in comments bellow.
