Google Is killing goo.gl url shortner



Google has announced it is Shutting down its URL shortener Service  goo.gl From April 13 And asked users to consider using app-centric Firebase 🔥 Dynamic Links (FDL) or similar popular services like Bitly and others as an alternative of goo.gl .



Starting in 2009 goo.gl is one of the most popular url shortner Service. FDL Are the smart URL's And bit.ly is  most popular shortner Service After goo.gl . Though people like me mostly rely on goo.gl can find Alternatives in Bitly.


Starting April 13, 2018, anonymous users and users who have never created short links before today will not be able to create new short links via the goo.gl console,

Michael Hermanto, Software Engineer, Firebase, wrote in a blog post on Saturday.


The Report Also added that existing Users of goo.gl can continue to All features till March 30, 2019 in the Console. From 1st April 2019 they Also Discontinue the Console As well.
